Was watching MTV and saw this show...."Trick It Out"

This is the show's logo.....



It's kinda nice to see the car being put out there.....but it seems that the WRX/STi is getting protrayed as the "New Civic" is it just me that feels this way?

 

i dont think it is ment to seam like a civic i think that the reason they put it as their picture is because everone in the tunner workd know that wrx/sti, and evo's are smashing and the mod's you can do to these cars is endless!

 

True...but it just seems like the WRX is going down that road....to become the new rice mobile....especially as they older WRX's get cheaper....Would hate to see a large contingent of WRX end up on the "Rice" thread.

 

its the quakerstate commercial...the reminds me, I need to change my oil. I think the WRX is being accepted as more of an on the edge ricer car, so companies are seeing it as a way to attract peoples attention

i wonder why evo's dont get that kind of exposure? are they less popular? btw, i seen that show on mtv and i got to say....... its a joke! they built a s14 with a basketball hoop sticking 7 feet of the trunk......

 

The evo has that boxy econ look . The subbie's just kind of say " hey check me out ." Plus that boxer engine really stand's out !

 

I almost cried when I saw what they did to the two S14's...

Mind you the burdandy one with the paint ball turret actually looked decent (as a car)

But the waste of two decent bodies and then the waste of an S15 front......
