s2000, gti, or wrx
yeah yeah i know its biased BUT im looking at getting a newer car in a few months...not sure what to get
what would you guys do?
used S2000? I like the high-revving engine, RWD handling, somewhat luxury, and the convertible, but not very practical (also limited tuning)
new GTI? smooth 1.8t...and IMO the nicest interior of the three...but FWD
new/used WRX? TURBO!, AWD, muscular sound/looks, very practical/all around performer...not very exclusive/luxurious IMO..warranty seems to be iffy, used are sketchy, no?
I think the wrx sounds like the best bet, but the s2000 isn't seen quite so much...what do you guys think?

for malibu the s2000 is fairly practicle.....hard choice...do u need awd/4dr...turbo would be nice...but the s2000 does have a 9000 rpm redline and 240hp....if you wanna supercharge it ....hell yeah :-) that would be NICEEEEE....but u seem to be leaning towards the rex ...is it just me or are you? if you are willing to supercharge(turbocharge maybe) the s2000 then thats what i would go with

if passenger seats isn't an issue, i'd get the s2k hands down. offers so much. from what i've read, it seems unanimous that it's one of the most fun cars to drive (in or out of its price range), great handling, high revving goodness, and lots of after market stuff out there. (i'd def get the hardtop).
so i vote s2k. just test drive all of them if you're having a really hard time. gti would be my last choice

what i meant about being not very tunable is that buying an exhaust or intake or headers, or even tuning the ecu don't yield the huge power gains factory turbo cars do. The comptech dyno's show fairly minimal results for the money, and I know i dont want to go forced induction. But who said it NEEDs to be faster? I'd be plenty happy as-is...maybe.
but yeah i think you guys are right about the S2000...i do go snowboarding and surfing a lot but i can just keep bumming rides. It would be for sure the most fun car to drive of the three. Cars aren't supposed to be about practicality are they??
thanks for your input
