Octane booster (which is the best additive?)

MMO you can pick up at Kragens.. should be able to pick it up at most automotive stores

imo, octane booster doesn't affect engine performance in any way, a higher octane fuel just allows you to run higher compression, i.e. more boost. But just adding an octane booster isn't go to affect performance, running race gas in a wrx with stock boost levels isn't going to make your car faster.

This is just my opinion, if you can prove me wrong I'm listening....

yeah, unless you're tuned for higher octane, adding race gas, or octane booster will just give you more headroom for detonation...peace of mind.

^^exactly, it just prevents knocking, so all these kids running out and buying octane booster or race gas is pointless unless they have interchangeable maps on their ecu to run more boost.

I always laughed at the drag strip when guys would run to the 76 container full of 110 or 105 octane race gas when they don't even have a chip to switch to a race gas setting and a different air/fuel ratio map.
