well i for one hope they really reconsider this whole thing, i mean the celica is practically responsible for the sport compact scene even existing in the us. and what will we do with out a new mr2, buy an elise ( i can't afford one). say what you want about toyota, it is a bad i dea to remove these two cars from their fleet. if they're so worried about competing then they should get in the game and actually try and make performance cars. where's the competition for the new z or the sti or rx8, they don't have one. its like they've already rolled over and given up. ok thats enough out of me guys, too much coffee

Well as an owner of 1991 MR2 Turbo and 2002 WRX sedan. The MR2 is little more fun to drive around, I think it is built a little better than the subaru WRX. But the wrx is what I drive around the most because it is more practical and a little easier to drive around, or some would say more docile. Toyota needs to ditch the low-horsepower scion crap and return to its roots and bring the MR2 Turbo back (with a little up-date on the looks and performance first) because the one I've got makes me smile when I drive it around town or the back roads in the country. The chicks still dig it, they always look at my MR2. The WRX isn't respected as much for its looks.
