Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi
I was thinking about this the other day. The only decent thing that Mitsubi**** has ever put out is the 4g63 or the VR4 3000gt. There sales suck when ever i go into the dealer they dont know what the hell is going on. I love the engineering that goes into the cars but who the hell is selling them????? I could just be rambling on about nothing.
Oh yeah anybody know sales numbers of last years mitsu line up?

I disagree, Mitsubishi has built a number of good cars. Eclipse GSX/Gallant VR-4 and the Evo come to mind (the US version is watered down, but better than nothing), in addition to the 3000GT VR-4. As for dealers, they seem sell a lot in the northeast, which really baffles me, as all the dealers near me are complete *********. Doesn't really matter to me, they won't include the $100 test drive offer on the Evo.

Most salesmen don't know sh**. I went to a ford dealership(don't ask why) and I asked a salesman if they carried SVT models at their dealership and he asked what's an SVT. I was amazed he didn't know what SVT is! doesn't that seem weird.
I agree with you Max Johnson, but dont get me wrong cause their are a good share of good salesman. Subaru is the only place that I had a salesman that was definitely in tune to what he was offering and not how to get me into the car and sign the contract.
I guess the thing is salesman are brought on based their selling skills, ability to perform proper steps in effectively listening, asking open and closed ended questions and closing a customer. I work for a cell phone company and the top dogs used to be those that new selling mantras and not the technology and quality of what they were selling.
I think the only reason why I had knowledgeable person when buying my WRX was because I was helped by the owner's son and he was straight forward and accurate on the product he was selling.
