Looking to get TSX, S40, or Legacy GT. any other comparable cars can be considered.

what im REALLY looking for is AWD for wisconsin winters, power to speed away from road ragers, and room for the kid. plus, this car will be for the lady and not me. that explains the need for speeding away from the road ragers.

but FWD is acceptable since it performs well in the snow. but power is a must. is Volvo qualtiy there or are they lacking. i know Audi lacks quality a little, but Volvo is totally different. Tsx is really nice but it is also lacking the power and AWD. the legacy GT seems nice also, but the interior doesnt woo and aww me at all. plus the front end doesnt thrill me either. i like the s40 exterior best and TSX interior best. but Legacy GT power dominates all. plus the s40 only comes with a/t and no m/t. that truly sucks. the lady likes the s40 and so do i, but we both hate the lack of m/t. reason why i choose s40 is because it falls 2nd in power, 1st in exterior, and 2nd in interior. that gives it a #1 overall for me.

price is also a concern, but anything under 30k is ok with me, since i will be making the payments. yes, the s40 will MSRP over 30 but invoice should be under 30k. any help or persuasions will be considered. i really wanted a WRX but ive decided that will not match up with the lady. it would be more for me, but if it was my choice, i want to wait for a 2006 or 2007 REAL sports car. whatever it may be, i want a REAL sports car that debuts around 2006 or 2007.

so lets remain focused on the sedans for now!!!!

yeah thats what i was thinking. Volvo! but i dont have mcuh info on their reliability. i know that it has decent power, but the lady really wants a m/t. i would prefer an a/t since it will not be a race car. hopefully we can come to an agreement. i could understand a m/t for a sports car, but not family car. to me it seems like Volvo S40 is the best route. keep the suggestions coming.
