In light of my recent brush with alignment catastrophe, I have decided to upgrade my suspension (struts and springs). I am looking to spend no more than $600 for struts and sprints (and all the little goodies involved). I have been doing some preliminary searches and have come up with some initial products. I would like some opinions if you have these products or suggestions if you think other products would be better for my needs.
I won’t be doing any auto-crossing but I am looking forward to a better handling car for everyday use and for taking on trips (I take 4-7 hour trips every few months). Also, I would like to lower my car as LITTLE as possible. Also, I’d like the ride to not be extremely rough… I like the comfort on long drives
Struts:
KYB GR-2 (~$58 on tirerack.com)
KYB AGX Adjustable (~$110 on tirerack.com)
Springs:
Eibach Pro-Kit Spring Set (~$246 on tirerack.com)
Alignment Products:
Eibach Recommended Align. Kit (~$25 on tirerack.com)
Ingalls FastCam Bolt (~$15 on tirerack.com)
As you can see I found all this stuff on tirerack.com. If you know of a place to get these for less or whichever ones you recommend, please let me know.
Thanks!

If your looking for a stock like ride I hear the Eibach springs are a good choice. They don't drop the car a whole lot and they're pretty soft. I see the springs and the KYB adjustables on e-bay all the time for a pretty good price. Although you would probably be just as happy with the non adjustables.
As far as alignment products, I couldn't say. The Eibach springs are such a slight drop that you might be able to get into spec without using any, but it'll depend on the condition of your bushings and such.

Thanks for that insight.
I was thinking about the non-adjustable struts vs. the adjustable ones and I thought that with the adjustable I could adjust them to be a smoother ride than the non-adjustable ones. However, I'm speculating and don't really know for sure.
Any other suggestions? Other manufactures perhaps or other places to purchase?

Not sure if the GR-2 struts will last, but I have heard complaints of the AGX struts being too harsh for some. The compression dampening on these are a little rough for some people.
The GR-2 should give a smooth ride but it really depends on how stiff the eibach's are; if the spring is pretty stiff, it will kill your shocks over time, as GR-2's are mainly meant to be a replacement for stock struts.
