I have a 92 mustang that I am the original owner with the griggs setup and 13inch brakes etc... and 600rwhp that is a street car. Griggs products are quality. As for the GT500, now you can get them for under 40k. At that price is a great deal. They are detuned and underated. With a tune and exhaust there putting down 550rwhp, but they are pigs at 3800lbs. Pretty much you can make anything handle great with lots of $$$$.
Word. I saw an ad for one recently, a GT500 coupe for $39,999. Good deal.
But yes, they are pigs. Near 4000 lbs with driver. Too much dead weight. There's a video on youtube, I think I captured it, of a 460whp SVT Cobra doing a highway pull against a 500whp GT500 and pulling a car or two on him. All that weight really hurts all aspects of performance.

my g/f is actually scared of how fast my car is right now...the only way she wants to drive fast in it now if she is behind the wheel
