Yeah... The old HMMVEE M-1028 Series or H1 by the civilian world is pretty stout for it's purpose as an off road vehicle. But it's a pain to maintain since everything is so compact in the engine bay which is to increase the survivability of the vehicle on the battlefield. Then you got the Up-Armored HMMVEE that their sending to our troops in Iraq. They're ten times worst since those 6.5L Diesel Turbo can't hump 13,000 lbs of steel, plus 4 G.I.s and their 70 lbs of weapons and gear. I just think they're overated, but the M-series HMMVEE are tough though even with a fiberglass hood, doors, trunk hatch. However, their not tough enough to withstand a Improvised Explosive Device.

With that note, please don't forget who the vehicle was really designed for. . . Our troops in Iraq.

 

Well after reading the article I'd say the H2 came out pretty well for hitting FOUR cars, not just the truck.

My uncle has an H2 (he's not blood related so you can't yell at me ) and some girl crossed the median of a divided highway in a Suburban and hit him head on at highway speeds - he didn't have a scratch and she was left in the hospital.

 

HAHAHAHAHA i hate that stupid car.. it can go to hell, damn peace of american engineering!!! and for the people who bought it...
