I think the H2 is a mix of GM parts in that its loosely based on the 2500 Suburban, but with a detuned Escalade 6l v8 & a modified rear axle off a 1 ton truck, etc. It is also possible that the h2 was designed to crumple in a front end collision. That being said, I don't really like them & if i had to blow big bucks on a truck I'd rather get an Escalade or SRX or better yet a Lingenfelter preped GMC Sierra Denali. I drove on on an off road course last summer & while I know that they are in their element off road, I also know that the H2 is way too "trucky" for me.
