Question Ebay Motors and cheap parts - scam?

So i'm looking for a new exhaust for my '00 Legacy on Ebay motors and I happen to notice that almost ALL the parts are dirt cheap (20-30$) range, with another 20 for shipping. Are these for real? Are they legit or stolen or something? I'm confused. Same with the cold air intakes....21.95? Come on, if it's too good to be true, it probably is; but most of the sellers have over 10,000 positive feedback, with less than 1% negative, so something must be going good. Any thoughts on this? Maybe somebody with some experience? Thanks.

From: Are you too one of the few still living the past? Well I can change that! With a simple wicket. Yes, my friend, a wicket. PM for details.
Car Info: No car right now....sob.
I wouldn't buy any parts I couldn't actually see and inspect first.

i've known people who order intakes and exhaust off ebay. The price is dirt cheap because the product is dirt cheap. Sure, you'll get your exhaust, but if you show it to someone else, they might think it's just a large metal tube. Quality's pretty bad and if noise is all you're after...then i guess it's ok...dunno, i say go with something decent that won't fall off while you're driving down the freeway.

btw, they usually have good ratings because people leave feedbacks right after they get the product. So it usually only measure's their attitude and service, not the quality or reliability of the product. hope this helps. In the end, it's your choice.

Actually a lot of people buy the ebay stuff. If I were going cheap, I totally would get the ebay TMIC, the ebay uppipe + downpipe + catback. It's a great deal and if for the money of getting a quality turboback plus uppipe, I could get a complete upgraded turbo setup.

Now before anyone flames me I myself do not run any ebay parts with my vf30/Helix TMIC setup since I don't want to support the ebay pirates who for the most part ripoff designs from companies that put lots of R&D into developing their product, but I know people who do and they are satisfied with the dyno numbers.
