Drove 54' 300SL
I got to see and drive a gullwing last weekend. Silver beautiful. That thing is 50 years old but the style is not outdated. One of the greatest cars ever made and its still comparably fast. I'll post pictures soon.

Comparably fast compared to what? Just out of curiosity...I really don't know anything about the power/weight of this car. It surely is a classic beauty, though.
i say it does 0-60 in like 6 seconds maybe its not very quick because its a 4 speed and the gears are kind of long. But it is very stable at 85 mph which is that fastest i drove it.

That's plenty fast! Even more impressive given it's age. I've been in some silly fast GM's from that era, but they were not stock.

0-60 is 6 seconds is very very impressive. It's impressive even today.

Like i said i am not sure about actually statistics but i know that the gullwing version goes for about $300,000-$350,000 and the roadster version is around the same price depending on condition. Look one up on ebay 54-62 i believe they where made.
