coil-overs, why so cheap?
I'm on ebay this morning and I do a search for impreza parts. And besides sti oil filler caps, stainless mufflers, and other random items everybody is peddling I see coil-over set ups. Well not the whole set up, just the springs, the adjustable cuffs, and the wrench to adjust them. And they all have "buy it now" prices under 100 bucks. What gives? Are they decent, or are coil-overs really this cheap. Will my car bottom out with the first bump it hits? Can someone shed some light, please.

They are not that cheap normally, and I personally would not under any circumstances buy them. Save your money (1.5-2.5k) and buy yourself a nice set of Cusco or Tein coilovers.

They are so cheap because I bet all they are is adjustable ride-height springs with no shocks. They still call those coilovers because they are adjustable. Not worth even $100.
