Yes, I was talking about brand recognition. Us car guys have no problem saying that an SRT-4 is an incredibly good performer, especially given it's price. We appreciate Corvettes, 'stangs, Supra's, M cars and 911's all in different ways, but appreciate them none the less. I work with a Bimmer a nut (he owns an '86M6, '91 M5, and a '90 735il) who bought a silver WRX wagon after he drove mine, because he's a car guy. I work with several other Bimmer owners who don't really know cars, who bought their cars for the status. My point was that there are a lot of people, maybe even some "car" people, who are very willing to pay extra in order to say they have a BMW.
