It could look so much cooler if they lowered the cabin to match the height of the hood/trunk sections.

 

Yeah the pics of the next 3 series were leaked out a couple months ago, gonna look worse than the new 5-series, should keep the value of the E46s up for a while, I dont know ANYONE who saw those pics and thought it looked good..

My buddy told me they fired the design team at BMW because of the fugly designs they came up with the past few years...The upcoming M5 will be sauuuucy, but I still like the e46!

 

Taste is purely a matter of opinion, but I think that is a dead sexy car compared to the shovel-nosed 3-series of the 90s and 00s. The "eyeline" of the front grille and headlights is clearly borrowed from the 7-series, and even those who ***** the most about Bangle and his designs has to admit that the current 7-series are some of the lovliest cars ever made.

Certainly a better looking car than anything American factories are putting out in the near future.

 

E36 from the late 90's is still the best looking bimmer. My buddy is hooking his car up with a Kaaz LSD, full suspension and a race seat, he already has a seriously hooked up sound system that he has to wear earplugs to listen to. That is some sick car, all he needs is to get a good job so he can work on the powertrain. True sleeper beauty, it's gonna be great when the differential is in the car, it's 80% HAHAHAHHAHA! he's nuts you can't even drive that on the highway

 

well, once again they have a hideous rear end.

I used to love BMW's. Drove and e36 for a while... now I just hate all the new ones. The company seems to have changed it's whole philosophy.
