I read it in my most recent edition of "Car & Driver". There are a lot of manufacturers offering awd options. Competition is good.

I hadnt heard that, but it sounds good enough. And yes, competition is REAL good.

The G35 sedan is faster than the WRX according to the latest Automobile magazine. I don't consider it a POS.

I'd agree with that. But for a sedan, I think the G35 is pretty good. 260hp, rwd, under $30k.
