I just thought that it was really interesting. Maybe a precursor to getting the GTR here. I need to find an infinity to take one of these for a test drive. 277 HP, w/ 270 FT LBS of tourqe. To bad you can't get the 6-speen manual tranny with the AWD. They're probably affraid of people shredding it. 5-speed triptronic Auto sounds pretty good though.
not all of em have awd, the awd model is called the G35x and only comes in the sedan (for now?). this island wont see manual 05 sedans till early 2005..Jan or Feb i believe?
it utilizes the ATTESA AWD drivetrain, but yeah, it sucks that it only comes with the automatic. maybe you could get the AT coupe with that. i would rather keep the 6-speed RWD just for power's sake, however, if they can sell that with the ATTESA that'll be awesome.

In North American trim, the hot 6 is expected to have 274 horsepower and a healthy 280 pound-feet of torque at a low 3000 RPM. This compares very favorably to Subaru’s 250 horsepower/250 pound-foot Legacy GT, which will most likely be the 6’s closest competitor from a pricing and performance standpoint. The only transmission offered will be a six-speed manual.

I drove the G35x about a 2 months ago. The Attessa all-wheel-drive setup sends the majority of the power through the rear wheels most of the time and, to a certain degree like the skyline, only sends power to the front if the computer detects limited traction.
