As said before, driver matters. If you had better tires on your wrx and you were a better driver you may beat the mini on the autox. I think the wrx would be close with just better tires, but stock for stock and assuming the same driver i'd say the mini would have you but it would'nt be a total spanking.

 

i say lets do a comparison that involves several scenarios- not just a racetrack. lets add some wet pavement(to simulate rainy days) and possibly some snowy weather. and then a dirt road. now to include a test like that would be more fair... considering the majority of the buyers are using these 2 cars for daily driving and not strictly racing events.
