Oppo 971H Upconverting DVD Player
Other Misc hardware..

HT Speaker Setup:
Harman Kardon AVR 635 7.1 Receiver
Ascend CM340 Fronts and center
Ascend HTM200 Rears
HSU VTF-3 MK2 12" 350 Watt Sub

Karaoke Setup:
Crown XLS-602
BMB CS-500 Fronts

All in a custom built cabinet housing. It screams for action movies! Anyway, its' pretty cool to know that we have an OPPO employee here. Maybe some 'special' pricing on some players for us BAICers?

gagen, what do you think about these two:

I have a HK AVR 247, both sets fit my budget. the Polk are about $200 less.

i would love to switch out to a more upscale reciever and a more clean sounding center, but for now this setup takes you right into the game.

oh and see that huge picture on the wall... well it doubles as my projector screen when fliped around for when we need to get some 6 player action on halo 3

2players on the vizio 4 on the projector MUHAHAHA!

Both links go to the same speaker setup, so i think you'll need to redo one of those.

That setup is better than what I have at home, and if it's your first surround sound setup, would be a great setup with decent sound. It's a fine match to the HK. Again, if this is your first surround sound setup, this is just fine.

I always give customers this advice: buy whats in your budget. There is no reason to break the bank for gear. how big is your room?

I definitely like the setup. Music is something I like, but I just lack the ears for the fine points. If I took care of my ears maybe the will improve, but for now I struggle to pickup small, but important, pieces in music.

Damn, zumn, that is quite the gaming set-up. I wish I had a projector for Halo 3.
