Gotcha in. Thanks.

The org crew plans to meet next week. After that, I'll have a better idea with report-in times, shift duration, etc. Then, I'll update the job description blurb w/ those deets.

Matt, thanks for bumpin' that for Tim. You're right. He'll need those 2 spots filled. Although I already heard from 03_Impreza_Al, he's not sure if he can make it. He's helped w/ Raffle Tix & Check-In in the past.

Caitlyn, since I know you're arriving early cuz Lance is on Parking, you can mos def pitch in where needed. The very early part of Food & Bev is simply unloading all the goods from vehicles. That's typically handled by the org crew & any early bird volunteers that can help.

I added a 4th spot to your roster the other day. Do you need a couple more or are your 3 guys adequate?

I also mentioned to Chris (Goss408) that he & his clean-up crew should also keep their eyes out while they make their rounds picking up. They'll let you know of any issues.

Awesome! Thanks guys! Check-In now has the needed people.

EVENT CHECK-IN

Basically, attendees tell you if they pre-paid or not. You will verify prepaid attendees from the list or will collect payment from non-prepaid attendees. Then, you'll give them their wristband to put on ASAP, informing them that it is what let's security know they're allowed at our event as well as what let's the lunch service crew & security know they're OK to be in the chow line, too. Prepays will also receive a single $2 raffle ticket. To be considered for this position, you will have to be vetted or vouched for by someone on the organizing committee. Please report in by 10:15am. We expect we’ll need your assistance until about 12:30.

I'm also waiting to hear back from Al & Ron who've helped w/ check-in & other areas in the past. Even if they decide last minute to attend, they're the type of fellas who'll help out anywhere on the spot.

So yeah, THANKS TO EVERYONE VOLUNTEERING THUS FAR!

Figured. I'll probably be working all three shifts at any rate, and there will only be 3 grills going at once, one of them being the veg one.
