no not the same thing. he said a powered by acura sticker
the point is that there is no "acura" motor. putting a sti grill on your car is just that putting something on your car and it has the brand name written on it. in no way are they saying they drive an sti. it's an sti part.

there are a lot of hondas out there that can outhandle an AWD car.
lets take a stock wrx and compare it to a stock 5th gen prelude
hmm if i recall correctly the prelude out handles the wrx, oh and look, they both come stock with re-92s

I am one of those guys that's pretty burned on this topic.
I used to drive a civic. Performance yes...rice no. But yet many people called me a ricer. We actually nearly started a club called WGR just to mach it....White Guy Rice.
So here are a couple I have issues with just to throw into the mix.....
Your front and rear wheels don't match.
I spent many of days like this...it's called winter time and I used them when I took my car up to go snowboarding..chains on soft 40 series tires equals bad move. not to mention clearance issues. but for the most part I find it humorous how many people jumped on the I'm a Racer so I have my steelies on look. Amazing...so stupid. I saw a camaro like this yesterday....and they are RWD...hmmm? but hey..maybe he had a blow out or something on the front...that happened to me once.
You tach is bigger than your fist.
My stock tach is bigger than my fist and I have a big fist? And some people do need these. Like say my friends old 10 second dart?
More than one set of fog/driving lights.

You painted your wheels and underbody to match.
Ever seen a hiBoy or many many other classic show cars? all painted pretty much.
Speed bumps are your worst enemies.
My brothers 55 chevy has to go slower over speed bumps than any car I've ever driven. Headers are like 2 inches off the damn ground.
Bright Colors.
For the most part I agree...haa...but you ever seen any of the old Mopar colors...brightest green I've ever seen and a nice burly plum purple...I dare you to walk up to my buddy and call him a ricer...then meet up at the wed night drags and watch him make you look really stupid.

That one made me laugh it was so rediculous...shoot a stock Integra Type R could make most AWD cars look stupid. I've seen modified honda turn high .9's on the pads an a few over 1.0. That's nothing to look down on....I don't think I've ever seen a WRX do that? Specially a street driven one. My civic when it was dialed in handled so much better than my WRX it's rediculous. Hopefully with a few upcoming mods it won't be such a large difference. But lets just say I handed it to more than 1 audi in the twisties.
I agree with a lot of this stuff but I'm just really burned on the gross generalization of the term ricer. Shoot I've heard people call our UCKK meet a ricer meet.

I was wrong once. What happened was that I originally thought I was wrong, and in so thinking I was wrong that I thought I was wrong. Now quit trying to start a flame war on this totally innocent thread.
may i also add....
-if you have a fire extinguisher mounted inside your car
-if you have gauges for the sake of having gauges
-if the interior of the car matches the exterior paint color
-if you have suicide doors on your honda/subaru/toyota
that's all i can think of for now.
