Or when people don't understand how pricing works and think "I have $x and want y-product. Therefore, y-product should cost $x."

Havent seen much of that but that would grind my teeth if I was a seller. Its usually the other way around for me because I sell my stuff at used/clearance prices and am very negotiable.

Or how about when people put lowball me and someone lowballs them and they get mad because its lower than what they had in mind for a lowball price.

when the person ahead of you at a checkout counter suddenly realizes after their total is announced - 'omg! i need to pay for this!'

and then spends 20 mins fumbling through their wallet-purse-cavernous hiking backpack of a bag to find the change they-knew-they-probably-had only to pay with a credit card.

DID THEY NOT PLAN OUT HOW THEY WERE GOING TO PAY FOR THEIR CHEESE-NIPS?!

that, and:

automatic / self service checkouts at walmart/lowes/etc.

NO. the human race as a whole is way to dumb to use these machines. the people using them make the checkout personnel look like rocket scientists.

Agreed. I just like them on principle. I much more appreciate the human interaction. I only use the self checkouts when all the lines are way too long at Safeway and am in a hurry.

They put, I believe, 2 of these at the Livermore Costco. Most people avoid it like the plague because they don't want to have to unload/load everything into the cart. SUCH a time saver when you want to be in and out of Costco really quickly.

Since I'm in college, I don't buy a lot of bulk in comparison to families. I love the convenience of swiping a couple of items, not even having to bag them, and be done quickly. This includes most places except Walmart... it's always a toss up there.

When the car/truck im driving next to is making all types of crazy squeak/grinding/chirping noises and I immidietly tell myself that its my car making those noises and EVERYTHING is broken, So i put two hands on the steering wheel and put my "oh ****" face on. Than i pull ahead and realize it was the POS truck i was driving next to, So i remove one hand from the wheel and hang it out the window, and replace my oh **** face with my "badass" one because my car is badass and not broken.
