yet another warrenty question

i bought my car in july 04 and i just noticed my passanger window has a problem with it. it rolls up too far so the rubber part started to rip. the question is does anybody have experience with warrenty problems in oakland subaru. im just worried because i have mods and i dont want them to void my warrenty. any input?

I can't figure out if I need to be standing on my head to view this picture properly.

If you go into the dealer with exhaust mods, etc for a window problem, they can't refuse to fix the window. They can however record your modifications and refuse service related to your modifications at a alter date.

I never been to Oakland Subuaru, but your mods shouldn't have any bearing on the window going up too high causing the tear. Unless you tricked out the window motor..heh

When I brought my wrx to Ron Price for a busted radio I was full TBE and catless. and as you may have read Ron Price isn't the best place. Warranty covered the radio. I believe as long as the warranted part that breaks isn't a result of your own doing (i.e. modding or whatnot) it should still be covered.

Also, as mmboost said, they make note of your mods though. Like when I was lowered they made note of it. But I'm not lowered anymore so that isn't an issue.

Oh OAKLAND SUBARU?! DO NOT GO THERE FOR ANYTHING. No joke. I am not exaggerating. Avoid them. They tried to blame a busted steering pump on having aftermarket wheels. Morons.
