Well the initial estimate I got was around $1700. So...yeah. Definitely glad she was at least honest...

ugh, thanks for pointing out the suckiest tires in the world...they are being replaced as soon as I have the funds. Definitely need new ones after putting on the sways.

Still waiting to hear back from my insurance about whether it all cleared and I can get the car into the shop.

No, but I guess the insurance companies are bickering amongst themselves, so I just have to wait it out.

Once it's in the shop it should only be like 2-3 days...

Nice, there should be some kind of punitive damages, didnt you get whiplash or something? =) That could by you a sweet set of coils and wheels.

Glad to hear, so you gonna go carbon fiber?

What's wrong with OEM rubber? most people don't drive it to the limt anyway, may as well get the high millege out fo it first.

Unfortunately no. Maybe for the trauma my brain and heart have been through...emotional damage...

Don't know how easy that would be. Maybe if I took the car to some non-insurance place and had my insurance company send me a check...but for now it'll probably be easier just to get it fixed.

I dunno, my tires seem to have a very small limit. That or I just ask too much of them. Either way I'll keep them for tahoe trips and whatnot.

Yeah, this could have been a whole lot worse. For all of you who have had car damage without the common courtesy of the other driver to leave their information, that sucks...
