WTF is wrong with people!
Some big as$hole just smashed out the passenger window on my wagon, parked in front of my house! when he saw me look out the window he strolled off.
If he'd stolen everything in the car he wouldn't have gotten enough stuff of value to pay for the f-ing window, damn that pisses me off!

He probably knows you in some way or another. There is a chance you know the guy. Why don't you file a police report with the description of the guy instead of surfing the internet and feeling pissed off?

thats hella messed up. somebody recently smashed the window of someone i know. all they stole was a car charger. people like that need to be beaten and left on the sidewalk.

I'm not exactly in the nicest part of town, but in 10 years here this is the first time something this F-ed up happened.
It just sux that there goes another 300-500 bucks that I don't exactly have laying around to pay my friends in the body/glass shops.

When I lived in Berkeley I'd see that **** all the time. I used to make sure that I had a bat or some weapon in the trunk in case someone needed a beating :-)

Wow, thats really effed up! I am sorry to hear that....you should have grabbed a bat or my preferred weapon of choice, a torque wrench, and ran after the guy. I hope the po's catch him. Good luck

laws says that you must try to avoid any confrontations with the bad guy.
you are to call for the police. you are supposed to even get out of your own house when someone is robbing it.
if you do anything like that, make sure:
1. there are NO witnesses.
2. when you catch them, THEY start the fight. you are just defending yourself.
3. if there are witnesses, make sure you yell really loud, "STOP AND DROP YOUR <INSERT THE BAD GUY'S WEAPON>... I'M CALLING THE POLICE" before you help the guy up from "tripping" on the ground, breaking a ribs and a few teeth...
