WTF ticket fees
So 2 weeks or so ago I got caught doing a "california stop" and CHP pulled me over.
Talked to me for a bit asking why I rolled it ect ect, was being a nice guy. Gave him all my info and he went back to run everything.
Thought he was going to be cool and let me off with a warning, but nope.. Got a ticket for it
But I cant really be too mad about that because I did after all roll the stop sign. But I get the ticket info in the mail today..
first off its $222.....
Then if I want to pay in payments, you have to pay upfront 25% of the total and a $35 fee for payment option.
Then I turn over the back and it says:
WHAT THE F!
SOOOOO if I want traffic school
a) cant make payments
b) pay an extra $56 for a "administrative fee"
c) also pay another $40ish for traffic school (already knew that tho)
The "admin fee" is ****ing bull****

Me:
:The StateThere are a fair amount of free or very cheap traffic schools that are accepted by most of not all of the bay area counties. I can't remember the one I completed, but it took about 45 minutes start to finish and cost about $5. I did it on lunch at work. Hope this helps just a bit...
