boy, what's with the additional fees for a concert these days?!?

Angry boy, what's with the additional fees for a concert these days?!?

dang...

$50 for a tix. but ticket rapist, er master, want an additional $10 "convenience fee" and an additional $3 for building fee???????

sigh...


btw, is this san jose civic auditorium?

It sucks! These days you have to almost double the "price" of some tickets to get the actual amount out-of-pocket....

They should change the name of the "convenience fee" to the "you have no other option for a place to buy this ticket so we're going to charge as much as we want fee"

Heck concerts 20 years ago it was pretty much the same way.. well i dont know about here but in Oregon using ticket master back then always had the extra fees.

last time i bought tickets from ticketmaster, you had to pay an extra $2-3 to print your own ticket. and it was free to have them mail it to you

i remember the good ol days when great america had their concert series...

it was an extra $6 for each event + the cost to get into the park...

so i bought a season pass for like $40. then attended like 5-6 concerts that one year...

sigh...

That is on top of their "convenience charge", which has always been there, but back in the day it was more reasonable, like $2-3 or so.
