if my office digital didn't get jacked I'd do the pictures and article myself. But I'm not forkin out $150 for film and development for a magazine that may or may not be interested to do 35mm.

He's good people. If I can get a hold of a decent digital camera I'll do some photos for you broham. I'll be at the 831 meet up. the DB meet up. I can even drive up ahead and get some photos....long as I can get a VIP pass through the line up to get in...or a reserved spot...3 spots..for my wagon clique homies.
I can't afford to develop $150 in film if I use my 35mm.

don't worry about it. just show up, lead the pack. I can always TRY to reserve spots, but they are reserved for vendors FIRST. So be ahead, and you can a spot closer.

I will set you up with a loaner camera for the day. Nikon D100 and a lens suitable for parking lot shots.
If you are interested in driving ahead for some shots there are some difficulties associated with that - The subbies tend to drive very close together for some reason (insecurities??) and there are no turnouts for the first several miles along the route. However if you are willing to flaunt the law :O then you can stand along the road somewhere. 2003 I parked pretty close to Grant park along the edge of the road.
