Any photographers want to step up and be our "official photographer"? We just require that you take amazing photos and have outrageously expensive digital equipment....that's all. If interested, email me: ryan@subiesport.com

I just don't get it. That is some BS!!! We have one of the largest most active communities on the Country possibly the world, hosting one of the largest meets in the country. With people DRIVING thier cars and we get dissed for a car show.
Where the hell are thier priorities at. :finger:

That would be cool Alex. I just find it to be a little upsetting that SS dissed this meet for a bunch of trailer queens.

don't fret dood, enough people will take some pics that we can send up to them to get in the mag.

You have to remember also, they are running a business, and businesses have to make decisions at times that not everyone agrees with.

that's pretty crazy. I can't believe we can't get coverage.

I mean we're looking at 3-400 cars 500 people. When's the last time you saw that many subaru's anywhere? We have one of the largest single manufacturer meets in the world and the cars have really only been stateside for less than 10 years. 4 for the wrx. I mean damn....come on.

I personally think it's bull crap.

It's not that hard to line up an employee or a couple of budies to head out to a meet like this to get some coverage. I mean send 2 guys....that's it.

I love the magazine and have talked to the editer myself. Good people.

Just saying..this bums me out. but hell, I'm not going to get magazine coverage. I'm going to be there with friends and check out some cars.

last year there were 150~ subies there. 400 cars would be pushing it to park there.

It really is not that big of a deal, if we send pics, they will get posted. If they do not, then I would be pissed and that would show they do not care about the community and audience they are marketing to.

I know there were over 300 people there last year...that's more what I had in mind. Over 400 people...my bad. But I'd guess we'll have more than 200 cars for sure this year.

There were 200+ cars last year.

Also, NESIC this year had 353, we might have a tough time beating that, but who knows.

Thats BS... I don't see what "outrageously expensive digital equiptment is.."

All we need is a high-res DSLR and some nice lenses. Its not like we need a $6000 camera..... I already got either a D70 or a Rebel (borrow from my freind and I take better pics than him anyways lol) we can shoot at it's highest res(~6mp) and it should be fine. All I need is some nice lenses and I could take all the damn Subie Sport pictures. I'm a pretty good photographer for not having school or anything, but I guess this will put me to the test.

I know there has to be some other photographers here... we can team up and take pics for everyone, and I can use your lenses and **** lol-- Anyone wanna hook me up?

I wonder if we take some reall good pictures if SubieSport would even put them in???

hmmmmm...that's a let down right there. That is the first thing I would do when organizing an event like this. Soon as I have a solid date. Make the calls. Magazines. Shops. Etc. especially a magazine dedicated to our cars.
