WRX vs. Everyone

So how do a lot of today's cars stack up against the REX?

I haven't had a chance to go up against a lot of these cars and I've been curious

BMW M Roadster (supped-up Z3)
BMW Z4
BMW M3
Nissan 350Z
Porsche Boxter
Honda S2000
Acura RSX type-S
Ford Mustang GT
Chevy Camaro Z28 / Pontiac Trans Am
Mazda 6
Lexus IS300

Also, what kind of improvements to the REX take it to the next level over some of these cars?

I'm learning!

I didn't mean in just pure 1/4 mile turns
more curious of other drivers' experiences with see these guys on the highway

nothing serious...just the old, casual, roll up on someone and gun it

I'm bored at work and making conversation

This is a list I made up a while back that I add to now and again... I still have many things to add. I need to go back and modify towards (at least) estimate drivetrain loss percentages.

Oh, for slow folks... the smaller number, the better

Well i don't remember anything about the power, but the Z4 pulls a way higher g-count on the skidpad than the evo and the sti together, that thing is one tight bugger.

One car that is cheaper than the Supercar (McLaren F1, Ferrari F50, Ford GT40, etc.) but tough for a subie to beat on the road course with any amount of mods might be the upcoming Lotus Elise. At about $49,000, this thing can take on almost anything else and beat them on any road course with real corners. It'd probably be a killer at the autocross, too. It weighs about 2000 lbs.

It's more like a bare bones race car made just barely civilized enough to drive on the street and meet all emission and safety standards.
