I'm pretty sure Austin is a good guy, he was nice and friendly on the phone thats why I bought the tranny from him. But what am I suppose to do if the tranny isn;t working and I have to pay labor twice on a tranny install???? I am in no way trying to make an enemy I just want my money back and I'll give him the tranny and case is closed. I'll bite the dust and throw away $400 of my hard earn money for the labor on the install but that still leaves me with a non-functionally car.

Oh, no man, I'm not trying to belittle your complaint. I just posted out of shock, that's all. If you get sheisted by a good guy, you've still been sheisted. I just hope he clears this up for you and does the right thing to keep the 'good guy' status he used to have around here.

How much time passed from the moment u got the tranny to the moment u had it installed?
Picked up the tranny on sunday, dropped it of to MPJ, hoping to pick it up today but no way jose! Call austin up no answer. I pm him, he pm's me back stating he loses his phone ironically it can probably happen. I get pissed off and not because of him but I just lost out on $400 and now he pms me back that he doesnt remember selling me the tranny, so NOW I'M 100% PISSED. Pissed because my car is not working, pissed because I wasted a lot of my time, pissed because hard earn money goes to waste, and pissed because I feel cheated.

He was. But weren't we all? He's pretty young, but I'm sure he's at least 18 by now.

But thank you for your input. I'm tired and I have work tomorrow so I hope I get a good night sleep and this gets cleared up. Goodnight BAIC

Saying he doesn't remember selling you the transmission is probably why he "forgot" his tranny was broken then.

Cuz i sure as hell remember seeing him post up a transmission for sale that he listed as broken.

Goodluck with it Ro.

austin is full of it. the shop that pulled that tranny out told me it had a problem which is why he upgraded to the RA tranny! From the first day i met him at my friends shop...i never liked that guy. HE IS A SERIOUS ****ING LIAR. I don't want to say much about him, but im sure a couple other people here have tons of bad things to say about this guy

You seem to have a lot of written proof and backed up by a very reputable company. I'd deem it not worth your time trying to resolve this and take it straight to court.

Heh, I need to learn to not be so lazy and try and get proof of all sales when I do transactions. It only takes about 2 minutes on Microsoft Word and it would help stop this stupid "I never sold you anything" bull****. Hope you get your money back, and don't take the $400 install price especially if he's being this much of a dick head trying to say how he didn't sell you anything.

did you guys write out any kind of sales reciept and sign it when you bought the tranny from him? although, I'm not sure how well that'd hold up in court

good luck with the whole situation man
