Back Box Exausts were MADE for our cars... they sound AWESOME!

however, I've never seen anything about that company, so i don't personally reccomend it. If you want a backbox Amir, go with a Prodrive unit, but those are very expensive. Stromung kicks ***...

Remus makes pretty good(sounding/performing) stuff for BMW, but they were known to rust. I don't know if this is the case now but it was 2-3 years ago.

Looking at that picture, it's obviously Mild Steel, which rusts... I know, cause i have a mild steel Stromung cat back. But Stromung only comes in Stainless Steel Now, and i've hear it in person, it sounds badass.

Good pick, and the 2.5" is going to keep the torque level up!

You going to put it in? Where did you order from, how much does it cost nowadays?

$560 is a good price

Not hard at all.

Tip: Jack up the back end, and put the back on jack stands. Let the car sit for 45 mins. Exhaust is kinda heavy for crawling around under the car, So unbolt the two bolts from behind the last cat and then unhook the whole thing from the rubber hangers. then pull the stock exhaust out... preassemble the Stromung, noting how the little hanging arms stick out. Pull this under, and then have a few guys lift it up, and someone hook them through the rubber hangers. Now bolt it where you took the bolts off. I'm not sure if it comes with newgaskets, but you cars is low milage, so reusing the stock ones should be fine. Looks like a ring/donut in the diagram below.

2 bolts... simple. should take you no more than 45 mins...

Lower the car, Start the car, let it idle... listen, and see if you can hear any leaking... once it warmed up, drive around, and listen for leaks. Should be fine... meaning, you'll have a smile on your face. within a week, you're ECU will have made adjustments for the increased flow, and you'll feel the additional power.

And to think 2 years ago, i didn't know how a boost controller worked, or how to rev match downshift or that turbo cars has BOVs and what they did... I just realized that i learned a lot, now that i'm giving technical advice to someone else.

i'm telling someone how to install a catback... i love this club
