Yup, that road is not for the faint of heart if your realy pushing the car. Lots of houses, patched road, off camber turns, s turns. TREEES, cliffs and aminals. Not a road i would choose to drive REALY fast on. Any subbie meets here in the 831?

well i ran the motor low on oil. Who would have thaught the car would burn 3/5 of the oil in 1300 miles. and no warning light. #2 rod bearing totaly melted and sheered almost complitely off. it was about 1/8th of the thickness it was saposed to be. so now i get a full NA rebuild 11:1 compresion PnP, valve train. new pistins, shot peened rods, full ballance on the motor. new valves. hondata intake manafold gasget. should be done by mid/late next week.

So you only blew your motor or did that problem cause an accident? You're doing the motor work? Or you got another shop doing it? The newly built motor sounds awesome.

brucelee - iv heard of them. and may have attended some training with them, but dont know them personaly.
holland - the # 2 pistin slightly scored the block, but Jei from www.blacktrax.net was able to get it out. and black trax is doing the rebuild. for i have NO time to do such an intense project. So while the motor was out i had them build the head and trash all the old brearings for the crank. start fresh. because i dont want to run the risk of doing this again in the hear future.
