wow i feel bad for you. I guess you're the fella everyone was hounding on in the other thread.. Hope no one was hurt.

since she slammed on the brake, would it be partially her fault for reckless endangerment? were the cops on scene? goodluck. and unlike many others, im glad YOURE NOT hurt.

wouldn't it be his fault? you're supposed to keep enough distance to stop. if it's yellow, it's in her right to brake. at least that's how i would define it.

it would be his fault regardless for hitting the other vehicle from behind. why would you try to pay for this yourself? It's likely they'll report the accident to insurance meaning you'll get marks there any way. Get your insurance to fix the car right, don't cheap out on it.

If he wasn't speeding then no harm no foul. Accidents happen. But the scenario described in that other thread was a bit different now, wasn't it?

yes.. exactly why im correcting it.. regardless whether it was my fault or not.. ranting on someone, who jus got into an accident.. and basing information one person who wasn't even at the site of the accident is pretty pathetic..

We all made an assumption, that an immature person was driving an STi too fast for conditions and got into an accident. Your response does nothing but validate our assumption.

"Stupid lady, how DARE she BRAKE for a yellow light...everyone knows that yellow means downshift and floor it!"

Glad you're okay...learn from your mistakes...I've made some (pics available by searching), but I realized that I was to blame. Not my tires, not the car, not the road, not the squirrels. Me.

If you rear-end someone, it's your fault. End of story.

Anyone wishing hurt on anyone is probably kidding and just being an internet-tough-guy.

Good luck getting your car back together. It sucks waiting but she will be whole again.
