The O.P. is retarded.

I can not believe that something counter was not filed by this guy or the police in regards to the beat down. When you are a trained fighter you are expected to show some kind of control beyond what the untrained show.

Did he have every right to detain this guy. Yes. Is beating him down justified... yeah. Doesn't mean its legal. And it doesn't mean he had to go that far. The dude was clearly not going anywhere.

If the guy that did the painting has any brains he'd file a counter suit.

Cost $250 for a complete detail to get that paint off. Hospital bills will be MUCH MUCH higher. My entire car was covered with overspray. I spent $30 on a clay bar kit and got it out myself in a few hours.

So yeah part of me is like.... good. **** the guy up. And part of me is like... dumb ***. Be careful what you brag about on the internet.

I'm guessing this is because of Mitsubishi's history?

Yeah that's true too. I think he did take it a bit too far. A couple of good punches and a call to the police would of sufficed. Then if he tried to get away, follow him till the cops show up.

Just for reference so you don't think I'm some sissy saying he shouldn't have beat the guy down...

I caught a kid breaking in to my car once. Elbow to the back of the head. Face off the side of my truck. He looked up at me and I told him to run. He did.

One hit.

I also chased someone off my property with a bat when I caught them trying to jack my wheels years ago.

I'm just saying he should be careful about the video considering the extent of the damage he did and the fact he's announcing that he's a trained fighter. Could be used against him.

Ditto to that. If you are a trained fighter, charges can be a lot worst.

I understand though, theres somethings you really really want to do badly when catching someone in the act like this.

Oh and he already took the spray paint off with "good ol WD40". And some other members were recommending WD-40 or ISP to remove it, then wax it to protect it. Reading all those detailing recommendations made my stomach churn.

So your going to beat someone up and record it? Post it on a public fourm?

The best part is that all those evo owners are agreeing with it. I would have keep that person there or get his info (car model, color, LIC plate, ect) call police, done. I need a new coat of paint anyway.
