I'll try to get some of my tahoe motorsports buddies to volunteer for the rally.

My car is almost ready, just need to add in fire extinguishers, spill kit, first aid kit, tow hooks, and an Odo ... although i think i'm going to buy new seats too. :|

There's lots of ways around this. All of the roads approaching the stage area are tarmac, and you could leave your car at the beginning of the dirt section and hitch a ride. Otherwise, you could leave the car in Reno and hitch a ride from there. Either way, you'd be more than welcome.

SIGN UP PEOPLE!!! Help Pete make this even go OFF!

I want to volunteer for NNR, I need to be exposed to stage rally, plus it's just 5-6 hrs away. Also going to try to get down to Gorman this year.

I'm hearing good things about the Redwoods Rally, where do I get more info or sign up?

Great- do please go to the North Nevada Rally.com site and get yourself signed up on the volunteer database.

Being in the database makes it easy to sign up for the other rallies in CA, Gorman is a really fun event too.

It is really a low-key fun adventure tour and camping trip that I organize really for local subaru enthusiasts only, so you won't find anything about it anywhere else.

But you can start out by searching the meets and events forum and old threads here in the BAIC forum, with 5 years of history you should be able to pull up a few old stories- then keep an eye out later in the summer as I will get a new thread started once I figure out the dates and basic route for this year.

Already signed up for NNR.

Here's a link to an old thread of mine with more rally info. Scroll down past the Starlite blurb and I've listed a number of different types of rallies and links.

Enjoy!
