Catless DP and UP pass smog

Will I pass smog with a catless DP and UP if I just stick the stock catback on (assuming there is no visual)? Anyone ever done this?

If you haven't done it, what combinations of stock and aftermarket parts have you been able to pass with?

no way you can pass with a catless setup . . . they might stick a probe thingy into your exhaust to see if it hits the cat

Bolded the part you must have missed. There would be the stock cat from the stock catback.

Also interested in what high flow DP you have. You did this with the stock catback?

If your setup is hot, not cold, one cat should pass a sniff test.

There is no cat in the catback, all catback exhausts start after the last cat.

If your catless you wont pass the sniff test.

if you have a 2 peice DP, then putting the stock 3rd cat pipe on would probably do it for you.

There is no cat in the midpipe.

As Gagan said you can retain the rear section of the downpipe which has a cat in it.

yea man, no cat in the stock catback or mid pipe . . . if you wanted to keep a cat just get a high flow cat or just get the primary downpipe that stromung sells. it lets you keep the rear cat
