To add to the actual knowledge pool here, I had one of my cars towed a few weeks ago from my house to the shop. Petaluma to Santa Rosa, it's lowered, but not super low. Driver specifically stated AAA doesn't want them towing lowered cars, but he was obviously a car guy and said "it looks stock height to me, wink wink". We talked shop while he loaded it up, and he obviously knew what he was doing. Didn't check reg/insurance/anything, put it on the truck, I told him where it was going and away it went.
