Will AAA tow my non running car from my house to a shop?

Does anyone know if that is covered under AAA coverage? Or does it have to be if I am broken down on the side of the road?

AAA will tow your car no matter where it is as long as they can get the car out and you're there. FYI, don't do it during rush hour, its a super long wait especially for a flat tow.

They will pick it up! It would be the same type of thing if say you broke down at your friends house, they would still come help you out.
I have 100 free miles of towing on my allstate plan.
shoot me a PM and i could always help you out if it dosent work for some reason.

When i moved from SJ to Palo Alto and Palo Alto to Sunnyvale I used AAA to move two of my cars. One was an Obvious Track car and the other was a project car. The tow truck driver didnt care one bit. He actually talked with me for a while about what was done to the car. If you pay your membership fee, your account is current, and your membership level has the distance coverage needed to travel your all good and sometimes if you need to go further they will hook up a cool price for the extra miles.

I dont know if thing have changed, but if you lowered your car, AAA will NOT tow your car. even if you specifically ask for a flat bed. i did this, they came with a reg tow truck and told me that they could not tow my car due to liabilities. had my car been lowered from the factory, they would do it no prob. but since i lowerd my car aftermarket, they would not tow. again, idk if this is different for whatever reason. but about 2 months ago, my throwout bearing had made its way past the fingers and completely killed my clutch, leaving me stranded. i ended up calling a buddy with a trailer, 4 hours after AAA beat around the bush about not being able to tow my car. F U AAA. all u guys are good for now is a jump start. lol

They towed both of my cars and both were lowered. Maybe your car or your friends cars were slammed to the floor. One of my cars was soda can on its side low and the other was not much different. Maybe it was my polite attitude or my willingness to help in any way i could or the fact that i said I know my car is low and it might scrape. Also helps if you can remove your front bumper that makes it easier to get the car onto the flat bed.

ya im rather low. ive been looking for a way to implement a clip for easy front bumper removal. not only does my front end scrape on trailers, but 4 pt lifts as well. ive already made my sideskirts easily removable via wing nuts for 2 pt lifts. lol. but stocjk height, no problem at all
