racing in a camry oh pleeze those things are slow she was just a stupid girl trying to show off to her friends and lost control doubt she wasn't racing any one well maybe another car load of girls
who would be dumb enough to race a camry full of girls.
if your gonna race do it alone do take anyone elses life with you. but do it on the track the streets are not the place for racing too much can happen when things go wrong.

He is under the illusion that Bushido's trips into the North Bay back roads are FAR more dangerous than taking on Evo's and Corvettes (among others), and he loves to brag about his victories.

Now that he's broken his transmission, he's selling everything off, going back to stock, and thinking he's going into his local dealership and everything will be fixed under warranty. I doubt VERY HIGHLY that the transmission will be fixed under warranty.

Look around. Everywhere he posts, he shows that he's a spoiled little kid who can't/won't suffer the consequences of his actions. Mommy bought him a Forester XT, gave him a bunch of money to modify it, so he's had everything handed to him on a platinum platter. In his post looking for a stock uppipe...his statement was:

He's selling off all his mods...don't you think he can afford to pay for an uppipe? Maybe trade + cash for one?

are you looking for trouble or something?

No. I'm merely calling it as I see it. I have plenty of quotes from the other board where you specifically state that:

1. Street racing events are safer than our drives in the North Bay.
2. You've never seen anyone killed or hurt during your street racing.
3. You believe that modifying your brakes is a waste of money, because you don't want to spend money on something that slows you down.

You're a nice kid...I just want to see you live to make it to be my age (and older). You do have a talent for driving, and with some education and training, you could be better. If you pursue that in a much safer (and legal) setting, who knows where it may lead? Getting an eleven second RX-7 to replace the Forester isn't going to help achieve that goal.

I'd just like to see that you understand just how dangerous street racing really is before it is you or one of your family or friends that suffers the consequences. Personally, I may drive in a spirited manner, but I do realize that there are consequences. If I choose to drive in a reckless or dangerous manner, I have to weigh the consequences vs. the fun that I'll have. The VAST MAJORITY of the time, I will slow down.

please don't go off topic

I've heard that the 4th girl has passed away. Also, my father has found out that there was a young man who has turned himself in to the police, and I believe he said he wasn't racing. I think it seems they were speeding to catch up to the guy to get/give a number. Very stupid thing to do.

If I Find out more I'll let you guys know.

Very sad story. A few years ago, I know of one Logan student who was killed on that same road. I don't think it was that same stretch, but close enough. I think there was 3 guys in an Integra that crashed into a wall. I don't recall if they were racing, but they were definitely flying way over the speed limit.

Oddly enough, there seems to be more "racing" on UC Blvd than on Mission Blvd. Which seems off, because Mission is just one long straight which would be some what safer.

Not to say that street saying is okay, because it never is.

heh.. There was a street race caused death that occured a while back on mission blvd. 2 cars (mustang and camaro) were racing down that strip and one car (forget which one) just crashed into a camry or corolla that was making a uturn near the entrance to Masonic Home. I heard it was not pretty... Next time I went past that area, there were flowers on the roadside...
