Why no E85 on Peninsula?
Does anyone know why there are no E85 stations on the Peninsula?
Propel's corp HQ is in Redwood City for christsakes
Is there some sort of environmental stuff preventing in the stations from going in, or has no one jumped on it?
Seems like the Stanford Hippies in Palo Alto would eat that stuff up.

The best thing you can do is contact propel directly and tell them you want a station.
Email Nicole Bode and let her know.

I spoke with Jake over @ Propel earlier
They are about to break ground on a E85 station in Palo Alto, expect it to be pumping at the end of Febuary. Looking at a station in Mountain View as well.

hippies have changed their mind on ethanol based fuels.
but i agree, this stuff gives some crazy power.
The Obama administration gave the green light to corn ethanol as a low-carbon renewable fuel – in apparent contradiction to California's declaration last summer that the biofuel's carbon footprint was too big to help the state mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.
Regulators and policy experts insist there's no conflict: Both rules match the science; it's simply a matter of what year you start counting emissions.
