Recent convert to DE shaving and have found that my skin is less irritated, hair grows back softer, no ingrown hairs, plus I look badass doing all this lol. Forgot to mention that the almost all DE blades are dirt cheap. For instance...http://www.amazon.com/SHARK-CHROME-D...7492505&sr=8-1 Each blade lasting a couple shaves.

I think a lot of printers or promotional printers (from dell, hp, etc) come with 'sample' ink cartridges. I remember they offered a free (after rebate) printer with my laptop but it said it could only print 150 pages or something in fine print.

+1 on the DE razors. I picked up a 1961 Gillette a little over a month ago. That, along with the pre-shave oil, shave cream, and lotion from The Art of Shaving and I'm good to go. I ordered a 100 razor sample pack off of Amazon for 20 bucks. I've yet to find cheaper blades.

I'm having a hard time convincing myself to go full wet shaving after looking at the cost of everything needed.

^ all that for shaving sounds as complicated as buying a Porsche Cayenne, trailer hitch, antique wooden boat, and white loafers.

DE is the bomb. You can spend a LOT of money on it, though. A simple setup will cost you around $30.
I can't use preshave oils... never really liked them and don't think they make a huge difference.

Razor + Blades ended up at ~35 bucks after shipping. The set of Soaps and such was a "gift" from my wife (but it's around 75 otherwise). But you can spend less and still get a good shave though.

I can't shave normally cause my skin gets really irritated. I'll only do it when I need to. Otherwise I use a beard trimmer and just cut it as close as I can get it.
plays well with others
