Thanks for all the info everyone. I'll post up results as soon as our track day happens. Hopefully I'll have my full camera setup for multiple car angles (inside views as well as outside views). I'm really excited about this! I love having a semi-fast car for once... My cars have always handled well but never had the ***** that the STi has, and boy is it nice to have all that power on tap and I love DCCD as well as being able to switch MAPs via Cobb APII.
My friends' car is really nice for long drives though... Much softer and cruises much smoother than my car could ever hope to achieve. Bravo for Infinity for making such a nice car. It really is a nice overall car. I want my sister to buy one since she likes them already.

LOL, I'll try my very best and will cheat if I have to!! JK about the cheating, but I will try to win by any means necessary. Im gonna make some noise!!! Hopefully it's "winning noise", lol otherwise I'll be as quiet as a mouse and make zero sound.
I hate losing!!!

You know, just for that extra insurance. haha
Type s only comes in manual. I have 350z vq35hr (similar but a bit less power than vq37) and I have a wrx(vf43 @ one point). I think 0 to 60 you may win. But up at higher speed, not really. G37 is not slow at all. But in road course, it would be definitely up to drivers. I would say performance is somewhat similar between these two. You will not smoke him and he will not smoke you. It really is up to who knows that t-hill better. G37 or 350z will handle great in t-hill. Although I did feel a bit safer in a subi due to it's AWD system. But rear wheel drive does handle great, if you are use to it's drivetrain. I strongly suggest you not to drive his car since you are use to AWD. You may reck his car. Not the other way around since Subaru is a bit easier to control from my experience.

G37 - heavy, intake n all those other bolt ons will barely do anything if he has no tune, also i hope the VQ37 has a oil cooler since theyve been having problems with oil running too hot.
I see that many tend to focus on power mods. But I can't stress enough, it would be almost all up to the drivers between these two cars.
Are you participating HPDE? If so, how much seat time do you have at the t-hill? How about your freind? I think this will give us a better idea on which car will perform better.
As far as mods go, I really care less about power mods. I do like the fact that you changed all fluid to synthetic though. I hope brake fluid is included. Perhaps, decent track brake pads will help you that day.
