hmmm, i can get my hands on a gas-powered ir rifle with a scope...... even looks like a Kalashnikov mil-spec sniper rifle.... full weight and everything.....

I think it being water-based would be more interesting. That way you can use multiple tactics against your target. Water guns, balloons, booby traps, etc. Plus its more about the embarassment of being wet versus the pain of being stung.
