learned auto from my mom to get my license, then got a job at stevens creek subaru and had to learn, so the combo of the other porter taking me out in the bullet-proof clutch jeep and my friend after work in his mazda, i learned pretty quickly for the job.

it was funny too, i was practicing thru the empty de anza parking lot and we heard this sorta rattling going on, so initially i thought i broke something in the transmission. so after my friend was doin some drive bys with me outta the car, im like "stop" and we pull off the wheel cap and theres a lug nut rollin around in it. he had changed out tires recently cuz of a flat and i guess he forgot to tighten that one cuz the rest were good.

oh and that was like our third parking lot that day just cuz everytime i screeched the tires once, the security or whatever thought we were doin something bad and kicked us out.

Learned from my folks. No one in my immediate family has ever owned a car with anything but a good ol' manual.
