jk, i had to go out of town and didn't have an internet connection. but I am back in black, actually albino white but you get the point.

I am getting the pictures ready to post into a thread so we can all vote for the top 12-15 (depends if we want a 07 calendar, a 07 calendar with the rest of 06).

I think they were planning on using photos already taken, but I suppose if taken in time and submitted, no pictures wouldnt be a problem - but then again cant do that for hammy since it already passed.

Ya, most of us agreed that this would be a Mt. Hammy Calendar and the picture submission has already passed. but, believe me we have some kick *** photos to chose from.

I think what will help Polish the most is if people would only submit their
best pictures. That way, we can cut down the amount of time spent searching and eliminating pics.

 

This is my plan:

1. I will go through the pictures and weed out the ones that won't look good as a calendar pic. Doesn't mean that its not a good pic just not a calendar pic.

2. I will email darkonion since he has helped me out the most and get his input on the pictures. Maybe even take my laptop to the tuesday meet @ Dukes and/or the thursday night meet in San Jose.

3. I will post some 30+ pics up for everyone to vote for their top 15. Voting will last a week.

4. After that I will take the pics, make the calendar on my comp, and then post the calendar in a thread.

5. Then I will take orders (in a different thread). The more we have initially the cheaper it will be.

6. I will send the calendar file out to be printed.

I will not personally make a profit on this. I don't believe in that. I just want to do something for the community. The profit that will be made on these will go towards some kind of meet or help out with the (not) Mt. Hammy meet next year.
I will keep records if anyone wants to call me out on this.

Sounds good. Polish has a bunch of pictures already. If you would like to submit your "BEST" pictures for the calendar, but haven't done so yet. Shoot me a PM, and I'll give you further directions on submitting your pics. I am not sure if we ever decided on making it Mt. Hammy only pics or not.

Note about submitted pictures:

1. Use good judgement about the pictures. We want quality stuff.

2. Please avoid sending multiple pics of the same car. 2 or 3 is okay. I don't want to have 7+ pictures of the same car in the same place at the same angle. Catch my drift? Save us some time and do some eliminating before you submit the pictures.

3. Submit your pictures. The better the diversity, the better the calendar will be. (Sidenote: I know someone has a pic of my '97 Impreza L rolling down 880 from UCKK to Great Mall. I would really like to see it. Help me out...)

4. Send us the big file. That way, we don't have to chase you down.
