Tour Van STOLEN!!!

hey my buddies band van got jacked with the trailer FULL attached to it.

Great great quality guys. help out. keep an eye out.....

ey everyone

Well, our van and trailer and all of our gear was stolen last night.
Someone broke into our van and somehow hotwired it and drove away with
all of our gear that we have worked hard over the past 9 year to obtain.
We have been a band now for 6 and 1/2 years and been through alot of
tough times, but nothing quite this defeating.

If anyone of you has heard or hears anything about what might have
happened, please let us know right away. We had over $25,000 worth of gear,
not counting the van and trailer.

Most of the gear has our names painted on the cases and on the
cabinets. We have used alot of the same gear for the past few years, so if you
see anything for sale anywhere and recognize any of it, please let us
know.

Right now we are just very sad. We do not have any way of replacing the
gear on our own. If anyone wants to or is willing to help us out with
gear or with the funds for gear, and prayer that we can get through
this, we would be forever in your debt and it would be a major blessing to
us.

Fighting Jacks Paypal Account

We have a paypal account setup to receive donations to help us buy back
all the gear that was stolen from us today. If you want to help us you
can send us money via Paypal here:

fightingmike@hotmail.com

Just go to paypal.com, click on "send money" and then enter that email
address.

You can also send us money or checks to our address here:

Fighting Jacks

Anything totally helps, we are trying get back as much of the gear as
we can. If you have any gear that you are trying to get rid of, please
let us know

Thanks for your help

Mike Wright

yeah. good friends of mine. I've known a couple of them for damn near 10 years.

no pictures yet but I'll get some.

Mike had a killer guitar with this tealish blue metal flake paint on it. Can't remember the model. Had a burgundy SG. The cases all had fighting jacks painted on them.

I'll get a list of everything that went. It sucks. I mean this is what they do. With no gear they can't exactly play. Not to mention their merch. Cd's. etc.

they are.

Tooth and Nail picks bands that have a sound that sells. Then they get as many bands that sound the same as they can. Then they beat the living hell out of the ones that make them money and ignore the ones that aren't. They get ZERO support. Then they rape the ones that make them money. **** Tooth and Nail and BranEVIL as I call the owner.

The Jacks gave tooth and nail the boot a while back. They're on their own again. They are just finishing up a new record to start shopping labels again.

They are christians but not a "christian band" Big difference these days..haaa.

Like Underoath, Unearth, Norma Jean, Mae, Zao, Emery, POD, etc....etc....etc. All christian industry cross overs. Christians...not christian bands....Most of them area actually trying to distance themselves from what has been a knock down term...christian band. Sorry. I spent like 6 years heavily involved with the "christian" industry. I've know some of these guys for a LONG time.

Insurance....I don't think so. Not that covers this kind of deal. Might cover the van.

home owners would cover the equipment. (i just delt with a stolen car in my possession on monday in vegas <-- ironic its a tooth and nail band's song name)
and my insurance said for all items like radar detector and all that to contact home owners.

underoath, emery, mae i would consider more of a "christian band" than fighting jacks. as fighting jacks appear to be like you said christians in a band.

hmmmm....

I'll call mike and talk to him about that. They're all young bucks so I'm not sure if the car is owned/registered to a home owner.

good info none the less.

A regular homeowner's policy might not cover their equipment since they're technically "professionals". My insurance company has a really loose definition of a professional musician. They consider me a professional because I gig regularly and I get paid > $0 (in cash, beer, etc.). Anyway, the coverage might depend on how exactly the theft occured. For example, my lame insurance company won't cover my music equipment getting stolen at a venue or from my car while at rehearsal or gigs. But if it was stolen from my house then I think it might be covered.

Anyway, that really sucks for FJ. I'd cry if someone stole all of my music gear. Anyway, a detailed list and/or pics of their equipment would be really helpful.
