Sorry dre, but I do a LOT of rallying, and what your talking about could very well be a load of fun, and it might come close to corresponding to some obscure dictionary definition of rally, -so does a bunch of folks standing around waving flags while a politician talks, -but it isn't a car rally.

Car rallies range from the AB and coursemarker gimmick style that TRC puts on (www.therallyeclub.org) through Pan-Am events like ITN puts on (linked above) and TSD marathons like the Alcan (www.alcan5000.com)
Nevada Open road races (www.openroadracing.com www.sscc.us) are really rallies up to the unlimited catagory, and if you invest in all the safety equipment there is always SCCA pro rally (www.rimoftheworldrally.com) and of course there's WRC.....

But hauling a crew down the interstate to party in different towns isn't a rally!

Put some checkpoints and navigational challenges in it, and you might have something I can agree is a rally.

i concur but is the turkey breat moist tonight? I hate it when my turkey breast is dry, it takes away from my palate.

The only navigational challenge will be how to get to the party the fastest. That and how many nekid chicas you can cram into your car.

(well maybe not the last one but we can dream!)

No i know its not a classical car rally in the sense you are talking about its more of a "run". To be honest i want it to be a basicly a bad *** road trip with a bunch of bad *** cars that normal people own. Not like the gumball or players run where bunch of way to rich people drive way to expensive cars. We will see how it all ends up.
