is heads up drag racing really that fun? it just seems like there's not a ton of skill involved... if your car is faster than the guy's you're racing against, you should win unless you blow the launch... so yeah, launching isn't SUPER easy, but let's be honest, it's not that hard either... the only hard thing is cutting a good light. if you were racing against guys with cars that were very close to your own, then i guess it would get interesting. one last thought... doesn't it seem like a lot of beating on your car (you know with the tranny biz) for a little bit of fun? i would just feel damn stupid if i broke the tranny on my subaru at the drag strip, you know?
