Who do yuo guys use for insurance?
Well, I'm about to turn 25 in Feb. and I am thinking about shopping around for some good insurance. I am curently still on my parents plan...I pay the premium but I am under their multi-car discount.
Just wondering if you guys knew of anything especially good. Currently have Allstate I think....how's Geico?

USAA. im stuck with it because of CA's stupid out of state license resident. I was forced to get a new license in NC...then i come back to CA (my home) and i have to pay $650 a month because im no longer viewed as a "good driver" WTF is that? so im stuck with usaa until i can get a different plan after i become an "experienced driver" once again.
california laws too. i love the land but it's getting harder and harder for me to stay in this **** hole. insurance was half the price in NC and KY.eric

Move up to some place exciting and fun like... Yreka or Redding and insurance might go down
I use Geico w/ Mechanical Breakdown insurance. Not the cheapest but they are pretty easy to deal with. I told them all my aftermarket parts on my last car that was stolen were for OEM worn out replacement and I had all my reciepts. They paid me for my aftermarket parts.

Sisqocqk, is $650 a month serious, or is that for 6 months?

You're getting me all wrong! USAA is fine...however, seeing how i came back to CA with an out of state license i was no longer considered an "experienced driver" according to CA state law.
Therefore, had i not gone with USAA i would have been charged $650 a MONTH for insurance with geico or another company. I just kept my existing plan from USAA when i lived in NC.
I was just complaining about antoher one of Ca's stupid laws.
